Directly sourced from the fertile farms of Njikwa in Northwest Cameroon, these cocoa beans are harvested by smallholder farmers who are passionate about quality.
Njikwa produces about 100 bags per harvest, and although farmers currently lack a cooperative, they are ready to organize. Most beans are traditionally carried by headloads to reach roads for transport to Bamenda, and some are sold informally to Nigeria.
These beans are:
-
Fully fermented and sun-dried
-
Rich in flavor, suitable for chocolate processing, confectionery, or export
-
Traceable directly from the source through Harvestá
Buying Njikwa cocoa helps you access a unique, small-origin supply while supporting farmers to improve infrastructure, market access, and cooperative organization.
